Kidney Stone
Tuesday, October 17th, 2006Yesterday, Wes' kidney stone decided to move. He called me around 11 saying that James was taking him to the ER in Vicksburg. I asked him if he wanted me to come over, and he said to wait. About an hour later, James called and said I needed to come get him. Luckily, mama was out of school because of all the rain we had Monday- we got over 15 inches. I called her, and she went with me. I called Wes before we left, and he said they had done a CT scan to make sure that it was a kidney stone. When I got there, James was still with him. Thanks James for taking him. He said Wes had a 3 mm size stone that had moved from the kidney to the bladder. Wes was pretty much out of it. They had given him some pain medicine, and he was feeling no pain. He would say things, and then say I don't know what I am talking about. We left the ER a little after 3. He slept the whole way home. When we got home, he didn't remember leaving the hospital. Last night, he asked what they did to him at the hospital, and what did they say was wrong. He said today has all been a blur. He cannot remember what they gave him for pain, but it sure worked. They gave him two prescription for pain. He still had a little pain last night, so he took one. He slept all night, but he decided to stay home from work today. He still hasn't passed it. Guess that is all for now.
