Oh the fun we have been having….

Last week was a very hectic week. We had to get ready for the Catfish Festival that was on Saturday. Every night was a late night or early morning. I think I went to bed around 4 or later every night. We made $210 that day, which was good considering it FLOODED earlier that morning, and not many people came out. A lot of the vendors didn't show up. On Friday, mama took my bows over to school and sold $70 worth, and got request for more. It was an exhausting day Saturday, just wished the weather had been better. It turned EXTREMELY cool later on in the day. I was hoping they would have booths available in Vicksburg this weekend, but I cannot get anyone to return my calls or emails. We are thinking about doing the Peach Festival in Ruston in June, and I am looking at others.

Emma Grace has been putting on a show lately. She has blossomed so much in the last two weeks. She is talking in sentences, and likes to repeat what you say. (Guess we have to be careful now so she will not embarrass us out in public) :-P She is such a DRAMA queen. Her favorite words are "OH NO" with her hands on the side of her face or on top of her head, but mostly the side of her face. She is so DRAMATIC with it. She is starting to take her pants off and diaper off, so I guess it is time for potty training to start. Not looking forward to that. :) She loves to talk on the phone. (Imagine that) Grammy gave her an old cell phone. She opened it up and starting dialing away. Look as if she was playing a game boy. Tammy asked her are you talking to Auntie Kim. Emma Grace said blah blah blah (couldn't be understood) Kim. Now, she does it every time she plays with a phone. You can only understand Kim. She loves talking on the phone to her Auntie Kim. Kim is the only person she will talk to every time, and Kim loves it. She has been doing so much lately I am trying to think of it all. She took her Time Out chair that Grammy bought her (Yes, I said time out chair Grammy gave her –hahaha), and put it up against the gate so she could climb over it. Grammy and Tammy stopped her before she tried it. She loves watching Blue's Clues now. She will say it's a ccccooooo. It is so cute. She can even point to the clue on TV. She now moves her hands just like the guy on there does, writes in her notebook and points to her head when he says think think think. For the notebook, she turns her left side inward and takes the index finger on her right hand and acts like she is writing. For think think think, she points to the side of her face (like when we sing if you are happy and you know and your face will surely so it). I show her to point to her head, but she still points to her face. (That is close enough for us) Saturday night, Tammy drew a paw print on a piece of paper and asked her what it was and she said "a cccooo". Tammy said she can identify shapes, b/c it wasn't colored blue. Also, Saturday night, she would take plastic eggs apart and put one on her left foot and one on her right foot and walk around. We laughed so hard. She would say "sssshhhhooooo". Tammy was taking pictures of her with them on and she posed and posed. She gave the biggest smiles and would say cheese. She had us laughing so hard. Wes got a glass storm door to go on the door that we use, and she LOVES it. The expression on her face Friday morning when she saw it was priceless. She ran to it and said "something something mommmma side". She saw her swing and said "wing". She was so excited. She loves looking out it, so we got another one for the other door in the living room that looks out the front toward the road. It was too dark tonight for her to truly enjoy it tonight, but she was so excited when she saw it. She had her mouth open and ran to it. I cannot wait for in the morning. She will be glued to it watching the "karz" going by.

The child loves to sing and dance. She will dance to anything, even Sanjaya on American Idol. We laughed at her tonight. She would come running in the living room, and start shaking her booty. Then when they finished, she would clap and scream for them. Every time a song comes on a show or if she plays any of her singing toys, she sings right along with it. She hums most of it, but occasionally says the words. She has become our little entertainer. We never know what she will do next. It is so much fun, and exciting. She is growing up so fast. I was putting a fountain ponytail on top of her head today, and couldn't believe how much her hair has grown. The Easter Bunny got her a ball, bat and glove for Easter. She brings the glove and ball to me and says "here ya go". She likes for me to throw the ball and she goes to get it. She likes to hit her daddy with the bat. She got a few good licks the other night.

I guess that is all for now. I know there are some things I left out. If you or someone you know would like to buy hair bows, photo collages, or photo invitations, leave us a comment or call us or email us. Wes has been asked to do some photo graduation invitations and he has been thinking about doing other photo invitations, like birthday. The first birthday ones are cute. We can also do monogram items like burp cloths, diaper covers, shirts, hair ribbon, onesies and many more things. We just cannot do big bulky things. Just ask us to see if we can do it. Also, we have t-shirts with ribbon sewed on the front with a bow. We can do them plain or monogram an initial or name on it. The sizes are 12m, 18m, 24m, 3T, 4T and 5T. I have also done newborn, 0-3m, 3-6m, 3-9m, 12m, and 18m onesies with the ribbon and bow. I am currently looking for older girl sizes. If you would like to see a photo of them, email me at kristie@monceaux.org. So, if you know of anyone that would like for us to do something for them, tell them to contact us. We also have the photo purses that are very cute and great gift ideas.

Guess I better get to bed….. Later….
