Wes made it to Fairbanks around 8:40 our time, which is 5:40 Alaska time. He is staying at a Bed and Breakfast that doesn't have internet nor does it have a TV. He has had some funny stories about the place. He said it is up an incline and their car almost didn't make it. He said it got to the top and stalled out. It has been snowing while he is there. I have found some webcams online, and I just looked and it looks like it snowed pretty good last night. He said a lot of the off roads going to the BnB are covered in snow. He is still sick. He sounded terrible yesterday morning and last night. During the day yesterday, he said he felt like he had fever, but thank goodness his ears have unstopped and he could hear. I told him to go get him a thermometer and some Vick's at Wal-Mart. Yes, there is a Wal-Mart in Alaska. My mom could survive there.

There was an aurora Wednesday morning around 3, but they missed it. The BnB owner said he checked around 2 and there was nothing. They have told them they will wake them if they see one. I am about to call him to make sure he is up. They serve breakfast at 8:30.

I talked to the bank yesterday, and the closing on the house should be next week. Entergy came out yesterday and told me where we need to put our temporary pole and what we need to do when we get ready for the permanent pole. Aaron is going to put that down on Saturday morning. He will also tell me how much dirt we will need, so it looks like we will be starting soon.

Well, I gotta get busy since we have orders to fill and a festival next weekend. Later…
