Friday, July 11th, 2008
The doctor’s office in Monroe FINALLY called back, and they said to stop taking the beta blocker. I just wish they would have called yesterday evening so he wouldn’t have taken it this morning. By 10:00 last night, he was up and moving around. He says he feels better at night, so we guess it is wearing off by then. He stayed up all night b/c he wasn’t sleepy b/c he slept all day. I told him if he had to keep taking it then maybe he should take it at night. He took it between 8 and 8:30 and by the time we got to Delhi for his 10:00 rehab workout session, he was zapped. We barely made it back home before he passed out. Dr. Burkett’s nurse said he should be feeling better by in the morning, and he would be totally surprised if he wasn’t. Wes has an appointment to see Dr. Burkett on Wednesday, and he said to call them back if he didn’t start feeling better.
Our loan officer called right after we got home from Delhi, and we will close on the house Monday. He thought we would have to wait three days, but they waived that for us. He is suppose to call us Monday morning to let us know what time to be at the lawyer’s office. I forgot to put in yesterday’s entry that we FINALLY got our certificate of occupancy on Tuesday. I called the inspector on Monday afternoon, and left a message for him to call me. He did at around 8:30 Tuesday morning, and he came about 9:15. He acted like he didn’t know what I wanted. This is the same man that I had talked to a week earlier and he said as soon as he heard from Aaron he would come. Aaron called him right after he put the windows in, and he said he would try to make it that afternoon, if not then the next day. It was almost a week and then he wants to act like he didn’t have a clue as to why I was calling him. Oh, well, who cares now. We have the certificate, and now we can finally sign the papers. However, I don’t know if we want to start writing that check every month. 
Well, I better get to doing something. Wes and Emma Grace are both taking naps and I sure could join them, but I have too much to do. Later…
