Happy Halloween….

Friday, October 31st, 2008

We took Emma Grace to Aunt Delayne and Uncle Jarrell’s house and to Aunt Deanna and Uncle Jarrod’s house last night, because Aunt Delayne is going to Canton, Texas today. (Wish I was going..) Emma Grace was so cute and she knows EXACTLY what goes in her bucket. Before we left, she kept saying I dont’ have any candy in my bucket, so Grammy put a dollar in it. Not the correct thing to do. Emma Grace informed her that WAS NOT CANDY. I told Emma Grace that was better than candy, but she still insisted on candy. She got lots of it last night, and she ate her first Butterfinger mini. She wasn’t too sure about it, because it stuck to her teeth. She told her daddy he couldn’t have any, but I think he swapped one. The funniest thing was when Aunt Delayne said, “I like Butterfingers too,” and Emma Grace looked at her fingers as if to say I am not eating them. We will take her to Uncle Roy’s (that is if Uncle Roy is there… we are going to call him and tell him we are coming) and Ms. Elanie and Mr. Ronnie’s this afternoon and then we will come back to hand out candy at our house. I think she will have more fun doing that than trick or treating. We were going to Boo on Main Street, but after last year’s stupidity, we have decided to boycott it this year. They are starting it at 3:30 again this year, but have decided to stop it at 6, which is better than last year’s 5:00. By the time we got there, there was no candy and most merchant’s had gone.  Maybe Wes can post some pictures later on tonight.  Later…..

We are still here….

Sorry, I haven’t updated lately. I am not really sure anybody reads this anymore, but I will make a post. We have been EXTREMELY busy lately. We have been to three festivals in the past month. The last one we did in Vidalia during the balloon festival liked to have killed us. We were SOOOO busy, which was a good thing. We have one this weekend and one next weekend and then it is time to get ready for Christmas.

Wes is still feeling good. He still gets tired, but other than that, he seems to be doing great. Emma Grace is growing up too fast. She is so funny. She says some of the funniest things. Her Grammy told her the other day that she thought she should just stay home with her instead of teaching. Emma Grace said, “Grammy, I think that is a good idea.” We laughed. She is going to be a mermaid for Halloween. She is already making out her Christmas list, which includes every thing she sees. She likes to come into the office with her daddy and look at amazon.com or fisher price.com. Her toenail fell off about two weekends ago. We were in Natchez at a festival and the sheet in the bed hung on it and pulled it up. We soaked it in warm, soapy water and it came right off. I am not sure what will need to be done now. The toenail that was in under it looks cut, so I don’t know if it will ever grow back without being work on again. She is still enjoying dance, but gets a little bored in it. She told me the other day it was the same stuff. She can do the moves before the teacher does them. This past week she was doing her on moves at tap time. I think if the teacher broke out Hannah Montana she would see a show.

Well, I guess that is all for now. Hopefully, Wes can put some pictures up soon. Later..
