Merry Christmas!!!!!
Thursday, December 25th, 2008Well, Christmas is finally here, and it has been BUSY. We did Christmas different this year b/c Tammy had to work Christmas Eve night, and Kim had surgery on her foot Tuesday to remove a screw. We usually do it Christmas Eve night and then Santa on Christmas morning, but we did it all today. Emma Grace had a BLAST. We had to wake her up around 10:30 to come see what Santa brought. At first, she was still sleepy, but when she realized there were TOYS everywhere she woke up real fast. She was so funny. She would go from toy to toy. She got a talking doll house, three different Little People sets, Lego type blocks (she loves to build things), twin dolls with stroller and highchair and an art desk. That was just from Santa. Then it was on to unwrapping gifts. She would unwrap for a while and then get up and play. She repeated this until she was finished. She got TONS of stuff, mostly toys. Since she had so many gifts, I didn’t wrap the clothes we got her. Last year, she got bored unwrapping, but this year I think she would have unwrapped everything. Again, Grammy overdid herself. (thanks Grammy) Poor Wes, I think unwrapped gifts for almost an hour. Emma Grace told Grammy later on in the day, “I like all my presents, thank you Santa Claus.” She is so sweet.
We did it again when Karri and family stopped by, and will do it again tomorrow, that is if Kim can make it. She wasn’t able to drive up b/c of her foot surgery. The surgery was suppose to be a simple procedure, but from the looks of her foot…. NOT…..
Well, I am getting sleepy…. I haven’t had much sleep the last two week, and it is starting to hit once I have everything monogrammed and Christmas is over. I would LOVE to go to bed, but someone is still going strong. Hopefully, we can talk her into going to bed soon…. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas, I know we sure did……
